Easter Morning

Dear Savanna,

Thank you for being so kind and sharing with your brother and sister. Your Mommy tells me you are also a very good listener lately. Well done!

I left you a couple of presents around your house. Have fun finding them, they're in Easter Eggs.

With love to a very good girl,

Snow City

Last Thursday I took my Dad to Snow City in Singapore.

It was really cool. I like field trips like that. There were polar bears, penguins and reindeer. Dad said they weren't real animals, but they sure looked like it.

I had a very nice time. My good friend Harry also came along. At first he did not want to go into cold snow room because he does not like to wear long pants. Luckily I convinced him to join us inside for a snowball fight with his mom, Sophie.

Then we made ice cream. I made sure that our team made strawberry ice cream cause that's my favorite. Hopefully we can take Colten & Sienna to Snow City again someday.

Sienna Smiles

Little Sienna still lags behind brother in body weight but she is crawling faster, deftly navigating stairs and pulling herself to standing on every occasion. This last achievement is creating challenges for ensuring a restful naptime in the midst of junglegymming around the crib.

Hoosier Daddy

You can take the boy out of the Heartland, but you can't take the Hoosier out of the boy. The twins began their first basketball training camp this past week and showed great promise. Colten is already staking out his turf under the basket and has an affinity for going to the rim. Actually I think he just likes to chew on it, but no matter. It's all about getting him familiar with the tools.

My 1 & 2 Guard combination is still not clearly mapped out, but both girls are quick and keen to pass. For goodness sake we've got to have a scholarship lurking here somewhere don't we???

Game Changers

The twins are mobile and life will never be the same. However, it is truly a fun process to watch. Colten is all upper body strength, propelling himself forward with barrage of belly flops...
sometimes painful to watch. While Sienna takes a more aesthetic approach, frequently pausing in an raised yoga-like fashion before she shoots ahead with perfect form -- undoubtedly she will need to the dexterity to avoid being smashed by her brother, Bubba.
